Statement on Elements Music Festival

Elements Music Festival, August 7 to 11, 2025
Tunkhannock Township regrets any inconvenience that will be caused by the Elements
Mustic Festival August 7-11, 2025, and we are mindful about the impact that this event has on our surroundingcommunities. Please remember, Tunkhannock Township is not
involved with the organization or sponsoring of the event. This is a private event held on private property.
  • Any emergencies during the Elements Music Festival should be reported to 911 right away. The event isheld at the Pocono Internation Raceway, and any complaints
should be directed to them or to the Elements Music Festival itself.
  • Pocono International Raceway was granted a Variance from the Tunkhannock Township Zoning HearingBoard to be permitted to hold one (1) event annually past 1:00 AM.
  • Tunkhannock Township Board of Supervisors has advanced all legal arguments available in order toprotect its resident’s peaceful enjoyment of their property on the dates of the Elements Musical Festival.We worked with Pocono International Raceway to no avail. Also, asked for a Declaratory Judgementfrom the Court of
Common Pleas of Monroe County, to clarify to the original Zoning Hearing Board’s decision for thevariance to extend the hours for the Festival. Despite our efforts, there was no compromise or settlement.A judgement was made in favor of Pocono International Raceway.
  • Formal complaints must be submitted on an Issue of Concern Form which can be found on TunkhannockTownship’s webpage at www.longpondpa.com or
@tunkhannocktwpmonroe on Facebook. These complaints can be mailed to PO Box 203, Long Pond, PA18334, dropped off at the office or emailed to
tunksec@longpondpa.com, Phone calls or direct emails without a completed
“Issue of Concern” about the event will not be accepted by Tunkhannock Township.
