MINUTES OF THE TUNKHANNOCK TOWNSHIP BOARD OF SUPERVISORS’

SPECIAL MEETING HELD OCTOBER 25, 2007             

The Tunkhannock Township Board of Supervisors held a Special Meeting on October 25, 2007.  Those in attendance were Supervisors Richard G. Van Noy, Francis Altemose, II, Assistant Secretary Maria Wieand, Assistant Treasurer Bev Riker, Planning Officer Dot Trauger and area residents.  Supervisor Jim Sterrett was absent.  

The Meeting was called to order at 5:15p.m.  

Proposed Stoltzfus Land Development Plan: 

A motion by Supervisor Altemose, II, to approve the Stoltzfus Plan on recommendations from the Planning Commission and Kevin Harrison, Township Engineer with the following conditions: 

Phase I: Grading & Parking only

1. The parking plan must be completed before March 15, 2008

2. All required improvements must be installed, or an improvement construction guarantee in accordance with §503 must be accepted by the Supervisors (A bond or letter of credit).    ****Further approvals will be based on future letters of credit or a bond for the remaining $154,154.00.

3. A developers agreement must be signed which includes the project phases and conditions. Seconded by Supervisor Van Noy, there being no comments or questions the motion passed unanimously.
