Earned Income Tax
Audit Discrepancy Notice from the Central Tax Bureau of PA?

The Central Tax Bureau of PA, Inc., has sent some Tunkhannock Township residents Earned Income Tax Audit Discrepancy statements indicating that they owe back taxes.

On these statements, the taxing district is listed incorrectly as Tobyhanna Township. If you have received a statement of this type, you should do the following to rectify: 

¨ Call the Tunkhannock Township’s Tax Collector, Berkheimer Associates, at (610) 588-0965. 

¨ Provide your Social Security number. 

Berkheimer will send notice to the Central Tax Bureau of PA, Inc. and advise of the error.
