2008. Bring your bulk trash items to the Township for disposal. For

The Return of Tunkfest
The original Tunkfest is back and scheduled for Saturday,
August 9, 2008. Free admission, free food and non-alcoholic beverages,
vendors, fun and games. Volunteers are needed for cooking and serving.
Please call us at 570-646-3008 if you want to help out. Vendors welcome.
You must provide your own table.

Staff to Attend Open Records Seminar
In order to remain informed on the new Pennsylvania Open Records
Law, office staff will be attending Open Records Seminars scheduled for
April 23 & 28, 2008.
Annual PSATS Convention
New Supervisor Maureen Sterner will attend the annual PSATS Educational
Conference and Trade Show in Hershey, Pennsylvania on May 11 - 14th, 2008.
This convention gives municipalities statewide a chance to network with each
other on issues important to them. Training sessions, workshops and forums
on subjects ranging from zoning to road maintenance to telecommunications are
planned to keep delegates informed on the latest legislation, equipment and
news.
